Why We Built This Site
West Virginia offers public routes to many court dockets, but the correct custodian depends on the court. Jackson County Circuit Court and Family Court records begin with the Jackson Circuit Clerk. Magistrate records are routed through the Magistrate Clerk, while Ravenswood and Ripley maintain municipal matters. WVPASS searches Circuit and Family cases, and the Magistrate Court Record Search covers limited Magistrate case information. This site organizes those official contacts, portals, and court distinctions in one place.

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to any West Virginia court, clerk, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
